Meet Kimberly

A note on the french title of this journal and a different bio than you’ve read on me before:

No, I don’t live in Paris, but I wish every night on les etoiles that I could visit there more often.  I live in Brooklyn, NY by way of Nashville by way of a field near Pittsburgh where as a child I would lay on a big flat rock under a tree and read mystery books.  Now I read books in coffee shops, perhaps the adult version of a rock and a juice box.

Coming from a fashion and entertainment background, I now work in creative marketing.  I also am a founder (with my two best friends!) of a non-profit event planning team called “Giving Back is the New Black“.  We host concerts, wine nights, brunches, and fashion shows for good causes.  It’s amazing and it fills my heart.

I tend to love opposites:  Big cities and small towns, my modern condo with an antique bedroom, traveling far and walking down the block, dinner with thirty friends or going to the movies alone.

It’s a pleasure to meet you.

I enjoyed reading what you had to say about opposites. My wife and I are opposites of a sort. We will celebrate 34 years of marriage in a
couple of weeks, so it has worked for us, by the grace of God. Keep up the good work! God has blessed you with something of great value to offer the world.
